Cottesloe Beach - Shark Attacked by Lifeguard The beach life in Australia is amazing. The sand is pretty clean in WA and a great place to go for a swim at Christmas but there are dangers lurking in the water. So after learning about some of the awful incidents on Cottesloe Beach we made a warning to all the children. The Agnew team together with Sandy Andy built a shark eating a woman, just to show the world that there are real dangers up and down the coast and the sharks do sometimes get a little snappy with the bathers, but before we could start our filming some idiot life guard smashed up our work. We wanted to film our sculpture from the balcony of the big building on the beach but this brute of a life guard didn't appreciate our art, called it bad taste, then smashed it up, to the dismay of all the people around before we could even get our video camera out. Oh well, we will try some more beach filming tomorrow from another place where the locals are not so rude.

Asia Malaysia

We are touring around the islands of Malaysia looking for the perfect beach. Tioman was very nice, the south china sea is just beautiful to swim in, with so much life. The fish will swim with you around the bay and the visibility is amazing. The are even turtles and small alarms that will greet you as you dive. Lankawi has a few more tourist knocking around the main strip but the vibe in the beach bar is something you have to experience first hand. We made the guys at Babylon a sand sofa to sit on and watch the live music then we made our selves at home there for a few days. The people here are so nice. The sea here is on the Indian ocean side of Malaysia and not quite as sweet as the east side, the are a few more jellyfish and you don't get the same visibility but it's not to be sniffed at. Penang was the next stop but I spent three days sat on the loo so have very little to report on the beach life here. Nice toilets in the bay view hotel though. People don't use toilet paper here so it was an education for me on anal hygiene but I won't bore you with details. I was nice to check into a luxury hotel for some rest and recovery after staying in beach huts for a few weeks. Now we are in KL to party a little before checking out our final destination...
